class=”alignleft size-full wp-image-3676″ />Regional prepaid carrier has geared up all its resources to sell iPhones without Contract alongwith Cricket and Leap Wireless’s Cricket service, the regional perpaid carrier. And Apple users could avail this service from June 22.
However, this will cause a rise in iPhone prepaid price. The 16GB iPhone 4S may cost about $499.99 and 8GB iPhone 4 may cost $399.99.
This step is taken to bring in more and more customers to Apple’s market. At the same time, we cannot overlook the fact that Apple’s iPhone prepaid would be the most expensive smartphone amongst all the other prepaid smartphones.
The iPhone would be sold at $55 no-contract plan that offers unlimited calling and texting with 2.3GB data free. Apple seems to be very confident of reacapturing the business that is experiencing lull quite a time from now.
Leap CEO Doug Hutchison stated, “Launching iPhone is a major milestone for us and we are proud to offer iPhone customers attractive nationwide coverage, a robust 3G data network and a value-packed, no-contract plan”.
Leap will provide subsidy to Apple to lower down the rate of the iPhone prepaid. Wherein AT&T and verizon wireless offers 16GB Phone 4S for $649.99 without a 2 year contract.
